CLAIM OF MARIAN I. M. THAYER, INDIVIDUALLY AND AS BAILEE.

NOW comes MARIAN L. M. THAYER and makes and files her claim,
individually and as bailee, in the sum of Fourteen thousand nine hund­red and ten and fifty one-hundredths dollars ($14,910.50) and alleges as follows:

That she is a resident of Haverford, in the State of Pennsylvania.

AND claimant further alleges that on or about the 15th day of April, 1912, she was a passenger on the Steamship "Titanic", belonging to the petitioner herein, and that she had on board the Steamship at that time personal property belonging to herself, or in her charge and custody, of the value of Fourteen thousand nine hundred and ten and fifty one-hundredths dollars ($14,910.50), a true and itemized state­ment whereof, and of the reasonable value thereof, is hereto annexed. That on said date, the said Steamship "Titanic" was sunk in the waters of the Atlantic Ocean, as set forth in the petition herein, and claimant thereby lost the said property above mentioned and thereby became damaged in the sum of Fourteen thousand nine hundred and ten and fifty one-hundredths dollars ($14,910.50).

AND claimant further alleges, upon information and belief, that the said sinking of the Steamship "Titanic" was caused by the negligence of the petitioner herein, its officers, servants and agents, and was occasioned by and with the privity and knowledge of the peti­tioner itself.

AND claimant further alleges that no credits have been given and no payments have been made on account of her said claim.

That she is the claimant above named; that she has read the foregoing claim and knows the contents thereof; that the same is true of her own knowledge, except as to the matters therein stated to be alleged upon information and belief, and that as to those matters she believes it to be true.
