Vessel torpedoed by U-20, the same boat that would torpedo and sink the Lusitania. This news was not passed on to Lusitania.

Centurion was attacked by U-20, commanded by Captain Schweiger, off the coast of County Wexford, Ireland. After the crew abandoned the ship she remained afloat for another hour causing U-20 to fire second torpedo at her.
